I need some help

Ok, so last night was a terrible disappointment, because I hardly sold anything.  In addition, I haven’t sold anything on etsy. 

I would really like to get some feedback on this.  I honestly can’t figure out what is wrong with the items that I make; I work hard to make them cute, to make them high quality, and to make them affordable.  But even with making lower priced necklaces, nothing has sold, and it’s really discouraging.  

I guess I should add: I decided to start making these for a few reasons.  One was to make a bit of extra money; I like crafting and such, and I have seen other people be really successful with it, and I figured it would just be a little extra money.  Another was because I love Disney, and I want to be able to show that.  But it’s pretty difficult, because a great majority of the items out there that are Disney Princess themed are made for kids, and I feel like they look cheap.  I wanted to make items that Disney fans could wear, that weren’t “in your face” about being Disney themed, but that were in vocative of different characters (more like Disney Couture is).  

I’d just like feedback on what you’d like to see.  How you think I can improve.  Please be honest, because even if it’s not the nicest comment, if it’s helpful, that’s useful.

  1. hylialover said: Actually, I just don’t like the resin molds(speaking of Rapunzel ones). I feel like after they come out of the resin mold they lose so much of their shape and details. I think I would like them better if they were just clay/resin that was painted?

  3. listentoyourmumzy said: your items are GORGEOUS - it has nothing to do with that. I have found creating any kind of business is SO hard, and especially with one like yours, there is just an over saturation of stuff out there so it’s hard to get your spot in the market….
